Founded in 1898, the Rhode Island Bar Association has over 6,000 attorney members. The New York County Lawyers' Association has historically been one of the largest and most influential county bar associations in the country. From its 143 founders to the more than 10,000 who now proudly call themselves Members, the Association has stood for, as observed by one of its founders, Benno Lewinson: "the cultivation of the science of jurisprudence; the promotion of reforms in the law; the facilitation of the administration of justice; the elevation of the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession; [and] the cherishing of the spirit of brotherhood among the members of the Association."
The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated estate planning councils focused on establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards. NAEPC fosters public awareness of the quality services rendered by professionals who meet these standards. NAEPC builds a team approach involving cross-professional disciplines to better serve the public’s need in estate planning.
The Knoxville Bar Association was incorporated in 1973 and has continued to provide community services through innovative programs since that date. The Association has consistently provided unique services to lawyers and has helped make the practice of law better for its members by providing continuing legal education, programs and services.
The Fresno County Bar Association has been serving its members and its community since it was founded by twelve local lawyers in 1882. Its objectives are threefold: first, to maintain the honor and dignity of the legal profession; second, to increase the law's usefulness in promoting the administration and proper amendment of the law so as to best secure the rights of the citizens; and third, to further social discussion and friendly sentiment among its members.
